Tama is born in the PrideLands during the same time Prince Simba is. She never knew her father, as he was a wondering rogue. But she didn't really care; She had her mother and that was all that mattered. Tama took to playing with her friend Nala's little brother Mheetu, and she slowly developed a crush on him. She always would talk with Mheetu, go on adventures and do dangerous things, and even think of forming her own pride when she became an adult. To Tama's suprise, Mheetu agreed it would be a nice change for a female to rule the pride, and show the predjudice males that females were not as weak as they always claim they are. But her dreams were crushed when Scar came back and told the pride of King Mufasa and Prince Simba's demise, and that he would be letting hyena's into the Pride Lands.

The hyenas were cutting the lionesses food very slim, and Scar always ated everything before they could get to it. Sometimes Tama wondered if he didn't do it on purpose... Tama was the only one to purposely fight the hyenas, often earning herself some scars, but she didn't care, she was getting her friends some food either ways. When Tojo, Chumvi, Malka, Ayade, and Mheetu became teenagers, Scar started sicking his Hyena's on them, the result that Malka almost got killed. Malka and the boys planned an escape to a shrouded cliff area some ways away from PrideRock. Kula and Tama wanted to go, but Mheetu and all his siblings wanted to stay to look after their little brother, Lakwa. When the day finally came for them to depart, Tama and Mheetu said a tearfull goodbye, promising they would meet again...someday.

Year passed, and Tama's mother was getting to old to lead their small pride anymore, so Tama took over, and named it Gale-Winds Pride, for the strong winds that always blew. Tama battled constantly with the hyenas, Scar could not seem to take over her little pride, no matter how hard he tried. Everybody looked up to her, she was brave and strong, smart and kindhearted. Eventully, the King called his hyena's off, when he had lost thirty-two of them to Tama alone. She smiled to herself, I bet he wasn't feeling so mighty now, was he? Bet he never thought he would be beaten by a female, did he? Tama always wondered if Mheetu was ok, and what he would think of her if he could see her now; Battle Hardened but running her own pride!

One day, during a warm summers breeze, a orange lion and a pale one walked up to Tama while she was snoozing in the sun. She awoke and looked at the bright orange lion with a brown and black mane, turqoise eyes and brown spots on his paws- It was her Mheetu. Tama jumped up and embraced him, nuzzling deep into his mane. She also greeted Mheetu's brother Ayade. She welcomed them into the Pride, and the pride greeted them with open arms. They told of what became of the Pride Lands; Nala had run for help, Nadra had run away with Lakwa, but things were getting worse. Everybody hoped the PrideLands would be saved one day. Tama couldn't help feel happy, even though things were so very gloomy. She offered Mheetu to be her King, but he only laughed and said it would ruin her dream pride. "After all," he smiled kindly at her. "You always wanted a pride of your own, didn't you? And I think you showed ol' Scar a thing or two! I always knew females were better than us males give them credit for.".

Mheetu and Tama became mates, and eventually they had a son, which they named Alclair.

I decided to make my own colors and versian of the Lion King character, Tama^^ She's half sisters with Sarabi, Diku, Dwala, and Naanda, and also Ni. They all come from differen't mothers, their father was just a traveling rogue. Hope you like her!
