DTA entry for :icondiamond-waterfalls: Oh look, some DTA adopts - Open -Read Rules by Diamond-waterfalls one here. I was going to try for the Discord/Celestia one, but I figured I have enough Discord/Celestia babys arm xP I hardly ever try for Flashlight kids. I really like this one! So I decided the enter c8
Like seriously, even if I don't win her I'm going to re-use that cutiemark for something.

Anyways, onto the bio and stuff!

Name: Selina
Gender: Female
Species: Pegasus
Parents: Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkles
Sexuality: ???Straight/heteroflexible??? other
Job/talent: Her cutie mark represents her determination to be the best of the guards, and her duty and devotion to her family and friends.
Personality: Selina is a very determined and touch pegasus. She wants to be the best she can but never forgets her family or friends. She is rough and vicious with those who break the laws, but has a soft spot for children and others who were victims of tragedies. She often spends time volunteering at orphanages and helping those in hospitals get over traumas, even though she's not very skilled at it. Romance and love isn't really on the forefront of her mind, so she has issues deciding weather she should go out with anyone, and especially has issues with telling Celestia's daughter she does not have feelings for her. She hasn't disappointing her family and friends.

Bio: Selina was born to the happy couple that is Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle. Even though she was born a pegasus and not a unicorn like Twilight had hoped, she stilled loved her little chubby bundle of joy. Selina had a rather odd growing process: she was a normal sized newborn and toddler, but became slightly chunky from over-eating. Her wings stayed too small while she was little, making Twilight and Flash worry she'd never be able to fly. As a teen she later lost all of her weight and became extremely thin and flightly; her wings over-growing. She eventually grew into her wings and body, staying a size slightly taller than her mother.
Selina decides she wants to be one of the guards to help protect others from danger, and trains for years earning herself a high ranking title and the respect and love of many others. She specifies in helping the ponies in Pony Ville, and making sure others are safe. When a killer pony is in their mists, she spends hours at night patrolling to make sure others are safe.

***Other details and trivia about her
*As a baby she grew incredibly fat and chunky from benge-eating on spinach. She still loves it to this day. Twilight often  jokes thats why she's so strong and healthy.
*She looses a bit of her ear and gets scars from the Killer, while saving Celestia's daughter from him.
*She's close childhood friends with Celestia's daughter, but doesn't really know how to reply to the feelings of affection she bestows on her. She's not good with socializing, and often feels she shouldn't get into relationships as she's a police guards and it would only distract her.
*She may or may not have a crush on Fluttershy's son; but then again, everyone does.

---Story to go along with the bottom left picture, regarding her losing her ears, and some info the mysterious killer---
It was a moderately regular day in Pony Ville; the weather was perfect and the town was peaceful. It had been a while since the Fetlock Killer had attacked someone. Even so, Selina was still vigilant on patrolling the streets to make sure everyone was safe. Today she didn't have much work to do as nothing of interest was happening. Instead, she was standing post outside a random house chatting with friends.

Selina was leaning up against a barrel, stretching her wings every so often. She was prone to getting stiff for odd reasons even she didn't know.
"I disagree, Selina." Calie retorted. "I think its a wonderful idea to restrict those late night parties from the students." The orange pegasus sighed and rolled her eyes towards the sky. She had been threw this argument with Calie numerous times, and it still never changed. "I've already told you, we're not stopping them because they're not DOING anything. They're just having a party." She gave a disgruntled scowl towards the violet dracony. "I only deal with SERIOUS issues. Not parties you weren't invited to."

Calie gave out an angry gasp, glaring at her friend. "It's none of your business why I wasn't invited."

She was interrupted though by the sudden arrival of a pale pink mare, tail billowing like bright flames. Selina, even though she had seen her friend show up seemingly out of nowhere numerous times, still inwardly jumped in surprise. She berated herself for being so easily startled.
"Hi, Tilia."
"Hello, Selina, Callie." The mare smiled warmly at the both of them, lingering slightly longer on Selina with a loving smile. She fidgeted uncomfortable slightly.

"Did you hear the Fetlock killer hasn't been attacking recently?" She asked inquisitively. "Yeah, I heard." Selina sat down on the ground with a small thud, adjusting her armor slightly. She hated the fact she had to wear junior armor instead of sergeant armour. The junior stuff was so thin and barely protected her at all. She was also starting to outgrow it, and she knew she'd soon have to get a slightly bigger one made.
"Won't be too long though, now will it?" Selina muttered darkly, her violet eyes betraying her apprehension at the thought of another attack. Tilia looked startled at Selina's dark understone. "What do you mean?" worry grew on her face.
"Well, he's called the Fetlock Killer for a reason, now isn't he? He always attacks every two-to three months; same time it takes for a stallions feltlocks to grow in if he trims them."

Tilia looked puzzled. "But...I don't see what this has to do with him attacking-"
"The last time he attacked was two months ago. On this day."
The pink mare gave a sudden look of realization at this news. "...oh..." her reply was low and soft.

"Just a matter now..." She looked into the distance, surveying the many ponies out doing their daily things, oblivious that there may be a killer among them."

Callie gave a small cough, and poked the pink mare in the side. "Anyways, girls, I was wanting to show you something~ I got some upgrades for my boutique!" she bounced around happily, her violet eyes gleaming with joy and excitement.
Selina and Tilia smiled, happy to see Callie pleased. "Alright, I don't have anything better to do at the moment, and I'm on brake. So lets go!" The dracony gave a excited giggle and grabbed the pegasus' hoof and pulled her behind some of the houses, and down an alley-way. Selina didn't really care to go through these alleys, as this was commonly were the Fetlock Killer attacked others.

After some twists and turns they arrived outside the back of boutique still in the process of being built. The violet dracony bounced and squealed with joy. "See girls!" She pointed to the brightly colored stained-glass windows that had newly been installed. They depicted roses and flowers, and some birds, as well as crystals and Queen Celestia."
Selina and Tilia was very impressed with the windows, especially with the stunning detail to Celestia.
"The outside is still in the works, but mother says all I need to do is start adding to the details and-"

Selina's smile faded slowly for some reason. Her hair stood on end, and sound seamed to fade out and go quite. She was dimly aware of her friends still discussing the window and the boutique, but she was over-come with a feeling of dread and fear. She had no idea why she was overcome with these feelings, and began zoning out slightly trying to remember something.

"H-Hey...guys..." she managed to sputter out weakly. "Do... you-" she was cut off as a loud piercing scream filled the air. It startled all three of the mares, making them jump. Even though she was terrified Selina ran forward towards the screams that were echoing in the distance. She expected they were coming from behind a building on one of the lower-income streets. The orange mare quickly ran behind houses, dodging falling planks of wood and thick brush. Tilia and Callie trying to stay close on her heel, but falling behind. All of the sudden, the screams just stopped as if someone had hit an off switch. It was then that Selina had realized where she was and where she had led her friends, but it was too late now. They were in the maze of Alley-ways behind some old abandoned buildings that have yet to be torn down. It was filled with over-grown vines and brick walls just waiting to fall down. Piles of rubble blocking some ways. She also realized how vulnerable she felt. She was just a small female pegasus in thin armour, where as the Fetlock Killer was a massive male stallion who stood three heads taller than her. Even her two friends, one who was Tilia, the tallest mare next to Celestia, couldn't best him in a fight.
She breathed very shallowly, trying to listen for any sound. But there were none.
The pink mare looked around apprehensively, standing close to Selina. Callie was looking down one of the three openings in the maze-like structures. Even though none of them were speaking, she could tell they were all doing the same thing: listening for a sound.

Several minutes passed without a sound from anyone. Selina began to relax slightly. Perhaps the Fetlock Killer wasn't close by anymore. With this her feelings of rage began to seep in: here she was, an officer on duty, and she had failed yet again to save someone or capture the killer. What good was she? She couldn't help anymore. She was snapped out of her angry thoughts when she realized her two friends were still looking for the killer and were wandering away towards the many alleys that were in front of them. Callie had particularly wandered far; about 15 feet away from Selina.
Tilia was poking at an abandoned fence lying against the concrete and brick wall. "Oh... so dark back here, don't you think, Darling?" she raised a clawed hoof towards her mouth in quite amazement at the shadowy darkness in front of her.

"Callie, no, don't go into-"
She was cut off by a blood-curdling high-pitched scream from in front of her. Tilia was forcibly knocked to the ground as a large mass landed on her. Selina put a wing over her head to shield from a stray chunk of boulder. The large mass had knocked up a very thick cloud of dust, but Selina could clearly see Tilia struggling for another person. The dust cleared enough for her to see the masked face of the large male stallion, blood staining his grey neck and fur. Callie was standing stunned in horror unable to move.
"TILIA!" Selina screamed, charging at the stallion who was holding down her friend. The pink mare was struggling and kicking as the large male began trying to kick her with his hooves. He looked up suddenly when he heard Selina's cry of worry for Tilia.
As she charged at him, she felt oh so small; looking into the black eyes of the mask he wore. Part of her wanted to run away and cry for help, but she need to save her friends. She barreled into his side. She felt him being knocked off her friend. She was shocked at how rock-hard and heavy he felt. He felt as if he weighed a ton. Something in the back of her mind made her feel like she was going to loose to this much larger male. What was she? A small female pegasus. There is no way she could take him. He skidded several feet, her still pressed into his rib cage. Even when he was down and sliding he was still attempting to attack her; trying to ram his head into her or jab her with his sharp hooves. She was an impressive fighter. He rolled over, knocking her off and ran down an alley way directly in front of him.
Selina was stunned, aching and still having issues comprehending how utterly large and terrifying he was. She had always assumed he would be smaller or less impressive, but seeing him up-close and fighting him made it all the more real.

Even so, she stood up and chased after him, determined to either kill him or at least wound him further. She heard Tilia crying out for her as she ran into the darkness, but she didn't stop. She made several sharp turns, following the sound of his hooves against stone, getting closer and closer. She made a sharp turn to the right and stopped dead.

It was a dead end.

She panted and gasped for breath, surveying her surroundings. She didn't understand it. How could it be a dead end? She definitely heard him running down this way. Selina stared intently for several minutes, and was about to turn around who-

WHAM!

She smashed into the ground again, rolling over and landing on her back. She felt her armor crack down the middle, and several of the plates unlodge. She inwardly cursed her cheap and thin armor. She was abruptly brought out of her stunned head ache she was just managed to down the downward hoof-stomp towards her head by his hooves. She only just managed to dodge her head being crushed like a watermelon. She jumped up, standing her ground and glaring at him. He looked at her, both of them breathing heavily. She noticed his breathing was more labored than hers was. Most likely on account of the rubber mask her wore. She sniggered lightly when she noticed this, straining to keep conscious; she could tell she had a light concussion.
Upon hearing her quick snigger, the Fetlock Killer jumped towards her, missing by a few inches as she dodged. She kicked him as hard as she could squarely in the head. She could tell it didn't do much damage, but it at least knocked him to the ground. The sudden dust cloud that insued she jumped on top of him, trying to gash his face. He kept kicking at her with his hooves, she felt a searing pain as her left arm was cut by his sharp hooves. Selina felt warm blood quuickly draining out. Angry, the orange mare took a jab at his face; ripping his mask slightly, revealing pale grey fur and bright emerald eyes. Somewhere inside Selina she was stunned: This WAS a normal stallion. It wasn't some monster of fantasy everyone always talked about. This WAY a normal stallion. Somewhere in Pony Villie this stallion lived, living a normal life. It was so different than the faceless mask he always wore. Her moment of staring cost her dearly. The stallion stopped struggling when he noticed her staring fixedly into his face. He realized she was trying to memorize his features and lashed out; cutting her face across the bridge of her nose.

She cried out in pain, turn the other way. This gave him the chance he was looking for. Reaching up he bit down on her right ear, sinking his teeth her soft ear. She began struggling trying to push him away from her. She slide downwards slightly on the slippery sand as she moved, his weight ripping her ear right off.
Selina felt her ear separating from her body, warm blood pouring out of it. It stung painfully as the chilly air blew across her now opened-flesh. She shook her head from side to side, spraying blood droplets everywhere. Looking down, her vision hazy from pain and blood loss, she saw the Fetlock Killer spitting her chunk of ear off to the side, breathing heavily. He pushed her off of him and into a pile of broken ply-wood laying against a wall. The mare just sat there for several moments, feeling her eyesight fading in and out. Splinters were in her shoulders and wings and she felt like she was going to faint. Warm blood was trickling down her face from her ear.

She could faintly make out the stallion quickly running out of the alley-way, trying to escape. Her eyes shot open when she realized he was heading right towards her friends. This woke the pegasus up rather quickly and she somehow managed to find the strength to race after him. Adrenalin blocking out the pain and bloodloss. The cold wind was hitting her as she tried to find him. She resorted to using her wings to try gain speed. She saw him running past her friends, who tripped over in shock as he bumped against them.

"Selina, I-!" Tilia stopped, noticing the trail of blood following the smaller pegasus. "No time." she managed to choke out. She wasn't thinking right and was beginning to feel intoxicated from blood loss. Running quickly down alleys, she realized he was heading right for the Pony Ville main square. "Oh no you don't!" She snarled, kicking harder in attempt to get closer, and somehow she did. Right as he was exiting the alley-way, she made a bounding leap towards him.
She grabbed onto his rump, trying to keep a hold while he continued to run. It was no use and she slipped right off as if his fur was oiled down. She quickly bit and held onto his tail. He made a small squeal of pain as she held on, grabbing onto a post with her back legs. He tripped and rolled several feet away from her. Selina spat the massive chunk of his tail out, laying on the ground watching him run away.

At that moment she felt weak and couldn't move. Blood drained down her orange fur staining it ruby red. Her armor was cracking and coming off. Drained and tired all she could do was watch him escape into the distance s her eyesight began blurring and fading out. Dimly aware her friends trying to see if she was ok, she stood up suddenly and said "I'm fine, Tilia, he-"
that was the last she remembered as she finally lost consciousness.

She would wake in the morning in a hospital, with deep cuts and a massive concussion. And one less ear.

***Right, I know that was a bit short, but I will update this description tomorrow with three small stories related to the pictures at the bottom! Thanks for reading!
